TicketNetwork Advisory -- Lady Antebellum Ticket Sales Rise by 22%

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT--(Marketwire - Oct 28, 2011) - Country band Lady Antebellum is a rising star, and data from the TicketNetwork Exchange backs that up*. Approximately 22% more Lady Antebellum tickets have sold for the band's shows in 2011 than for their concerts in 2010. The upswing in their good fortune is also reflected in the average selling price, which has risen from $102 in 2010 to $118 in 2011.

The rise to stardom has been fairly smooth, albeit with some assistance. Lady Antebellum formed in 2006 and immediately established its credentials two years later with the release of its self-titled debut album. This was followed by the even more successful album Need You Now in 2010. A tour with Tim McGraw, as well as several festival appearances helped Lady Antebellum showcase its capabilities on the road.

This fall and winter the band will continue to show what keeps them in demand. The Own the Night Tour, in support of their latest album, will run well into 2012. Lady A will be joined at various points by Randy Montana, Edens Edge, Hootie & the Blowfish front man Darius Rucker, and bandmate Charles Kelley's brother Josh. The average ticket price for dates going forward is $138.
