Tickets to Senators' regular season home games from October to December go on sale Friday

Canadian Tire to offer free general parking for fans on Oct. 17 for opening night at Canadian Tire Centre

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 19, 2013) - The Ottawa Senators announced today that individual tickets for the Senators' 2013-14 regular-season games taking place from October to December will go on sale Friday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m.

The Senators' regular-season home opener, which will mark the Ottawa debuts for Jason Spezza as captain and new Senators Bobby Ryan and Clarke MacArthur, will take place on Thursday, Oct. 17, against the New Jersey Devils. There will be 24 home games in the months of October, November and December including rivalry matchups against the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs, as well as new divisional opponent the Detroit Red Wings.

As the proud sponsor of opening night, Canadian Tire will mark the official opening of Canadian Tire Centre and the start of the 2013-14 hockey season by offering free general parking to game goers, rally towels for every fan in attendance and much more in-game and on the Red Zone. Free parking is available in lots 5, 6 and 9. Fans and season-seat owners can redeem their pre-paid parking pass in lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7 in exchange for a $10 Canadian Tire gift card.

For individual tickets on sale Friday, buying early guarantees the best ticket prices for all individual games. In additional to buying early, the Senators will once again feature a number of affordable family-friendly options this season, including the all-inclusive package offered by Metro Family Nights, where fans get one ticket, one hot dog and one drink for $34.99. Subway now has a permanent home at Canadian Tire Centre for fans to enjoy the action. Located in sections 301-302 and 327-328, tickets in the Subway Zone start at only $35 and include a coupon that can be redeemed for a 6" Subway sub. The popular Coca-Cola Zero Zone will also return for all Senators regular-season games this season with Tickets starting from only $25.

Senators season-seats continue to guarantee the best seats and all the best games at the lowest prices. Season-seat owners also get priority access to world class events at Canadian Tire Centre and access to exclusive team events.

Three-, four- and six-game packs for the 2013-14 regular season are also on sale now. Fans can select their favorite games from the full home schedule, running from October to April. Game packs allow fans to save more than 15 per cent on individual single-game ticket prices.

The Senators' 2013-14 pre-season, presented by Canadian Tire and Jump Start, is scheduled to open tomorrow night when the Senators host the Toronto Maple Leafs at Canadian Tire Centre. The Senators will then host the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday, Sept. 25 and the New York Islanders on Sunday, Sept. 29, to wrap up their home pre-season schedule. For all pre-season games, kids tickets will be free with the purchase of every adult ticket.

Senators' Fan Fest, presented by Canadian Tire, will take place at Canadian Tire Centre this Saturday, Sept. 21. The event will feature a Senators' intra-squad game, the Sens Street Tour, a Senators' game used equipment and jersey sale, a fans only press conference and entertainment throughout the arena.
