Tidal Software Appoints Mark Theilken as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Industry Veteran to Lead Next Wave of Expansion in IT Automation

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - August 13, 2007) - Tidal Software™, a leading provider of application scheduling and performance management software, today announced that Mark Theilken has joined as senior vice president of worldwide sales, reporting to Flint Brenton, president and chief executive officer of Tidal Software. Theilken was previously president, sales solutions at Dendrite International, a leading provider of sales, marketing, and compliance solutions for the pharmaceuticals industry. Theilken will lead the company's initiatives to build its global operations and deliver its expanding solution to market.

Theilken brings to Tidal more than thirty years of rich experience building highly effective sales and services organizations delivering enterprise solutions. At Dendrite his contributions to sales strategy and execution drove increased revenue and profitability throughout the Sales Solutions line of business. Previously he was president and CEO of FUEGO Inc., a provider of business process management solutions. During his tenure at FUEGO, the company grew from startup to one of the top three "pure play" vendors in the BPM market. Prior to that Theilken was senior vice president of InfoBase products at ACXIOM Corporation. During his distinguished career Theilken has held key positions at IBM, including general management of regional operations in the US and in Asia Pacific and had revenue responsibility of over $1 billion. Theilken holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Illinois, Urbana.
