Tideway Board of Directors Strengthens With the Appointment of Former NetIQ CEO and Chairman of the Board

Charles M. Boesenberg Brings Wealth of International and Silicon Valley Corporate Expansion Experience

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 1, 2007 -- Tideway Systems, the independent leader in IT service configuration management solutions for enterprises, today announced the appointment of Charles (Chuck) M. Boesenberg as Board Director. Boesenberg was most recently CEO and Chairman of the Board at NetIQ Corporation where he led the company to its leadership position through internal development and acquisitions. Chuck also served on Macromedia's board until it was acquired by Adobe and Symantec's board of directors from 1994 to 2002. Boesenberg will strengthen Tideway's West coast management presence.

Prior to joining NetIQ, Boesenberg was President and CEO of Integrated Systems Inc. from 1998 until ISI merged with Wind River Systems, Inc. in February 2000. Boesenberg led the integration of multiple acquisitions and forged strategic partnerships resulting in the company's ability to deliver the broadest base of solutions in the embedded systems software market and returned the company to revenue growth and strong profitability.

Boesenberg also held senior executive positions at IBM and Apple Computer, and served as president and CEO of Central Point Software and Magellan Corporation. He was also president of MIPS Computer Systems where he grew the firm's business from $40 million to $150 million per year and completed a successful Initial Public Offering that raised $80 million. Boesenberg also serves on the board of several leading companies including Interwoven, Rackable Systems and Keynote Systems, and recently served on Symantec's board of directors.

Boesenberg holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology and an M.S. in business administration from Boston University.
