LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - July 17, 2007) - The Indus Entrepreneurs [TiE], the world's largest organization devoted to entrepreneurship, today announced TiECon Southwest 2007. The all-day conference will be held on Saturday, September 15, at the Doubletree Hotel in Anaheim. The event, billed as ENTREPRENEURSHIP: Now, New, Next, is being hosted by TiE-Southern California in association with TiE chapters from San Diego and Phoenix. The announcement was made today by Sanjay Kucheria, president of TiE Southern California, and TiECon Southwest 2007 co-chairpersons, Toni DasGupta and Ken Silverman.

TiECon Southwest 2007 will highlight successful entrepreneurial trends, companies, and individuals, all from across key industries. Confirmed keynote speakers include Andy Bird, President of Walt Disney International, who, among many other global initiatives, championed Disney's entry into India; Promod Haque, Managing Partner of Norwest Venture Partners, who FORBES magazine continually ranks as one of America's top VCs; and entrepreneur Sean Parker, Managing Partner of Founders Fund, who co-founded both Napster and Facebook.
