Tigray Announces Voting Results from Annual Meeting

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 28, 2013) - Tigray Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TIG) ("Tigray" or the "Company") announces voting results from its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held today in Vancouver, BC.

A total of 27.0 million common shares representing 48.8% of the Company's issued and outstanding common shares were voted in connection with the meeting. Shareholders voted in favour of all items of business, including election of each director nominee by a substantial majority as follows:

Dr. Wenshan Zhang 97.6%
Mr. Andrew Lee Smith 93.2%
Mr. David Parsons 95.0%
Mr. Randy Smallwood 92.9%

Shareholders voted 100% in favour to appoint PricewaterhouseCooper LLP as auditors, and 92.7% to re-approve the Company's 10% rolling stock option plan. In addition, shareholders voted 93.1% in favour of the implementation of an Advance Notice By-law.
