Tilera has overcome many of the key roadblocks to scalable computing through its innovations in mesh interconnect, distributed coherent caching, integrated I/O and power management, as well as manycore software and debug innovations.
Tilera's patent portfolio encompasses system-on-a-chip (SoC) architecture, multicore software and debug, physical design, 3D integrated chip design, cache coherence and high-performance I/O, among other technologies. The most recent set of patents have been in the areas of global cache coherence and 3D multicore integrated circuit design. The company also has foreign filings for its patents in China, India and the European Union.
