SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 25, 2013) - The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery located just outside the right field fence at Petco Park in Downtown San Diego celebrates its 5-Year Anniversary with a big party on Friday, March 1, 2013 to benefit It's All About The Kids Foundation.
From 5pm to close the Tilted Kilt will be rockin' with the music of RPM, Sam Hoskings with the TK Girls and the San Diego rock sensation The Palace Ballroom. From 7-8:30pm there will be hosted appetizers and selected beverages. Illusionist Nick Ivory will be entertaining guests with his mystifying illusions & tricks. A raffle will benefit It's All About The Kids Foundation.
Nick Santangelo, General Manager of the Tilted Kilt, has been at the pub since opening day. "Five years ago, it was exciting to be opening this great new Celtic themed sports pub next to Petco Park on St. Patrick's Day and two weeks later, it was opening day for the Padres."
According to owner/partner Anthony Laureti, "Five years is significant in today's economy and for the restaurant industry in general. The Tilted Kilt Area Developer team of Anthony Laureti, Tamara Laureti, Bill Reynolds and Jason Wood opened additional Tilted Kilts in Temecula in 2010 and Mission Valley in 2011. In November 2012, they opened the Tilted Kilt near the Honda Center in Orange County with another franchisee. Currently, the team is building out a new Tilted Kilt at the Linq in Las Vegas with the Caesars Entertainment Group that will open in October 2013.
