Tim Engel Joins King & Spalding as Partner
Addition of Engel to Litigation and Antitrust Team Expands Firm's Capabilities in Qui Tam Actions and Civil Litigation

WASHINGTON, DC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 22, 2007 -- King & Spalding, a leading international law
firm, announced today that Charles J. (Tim) Engel III, an antitrust lawyer
with significant experience handling a broad array of complex antitrust and
commercial litigation matters, has joined the firm as a partner in its
antitrust practice. Engel brings an extensive background in class action,
multidistrict and qui tam litigation to the firm's Washington, D.C. office.

Engel joins King & Spalding from Howrey LLP, where he was a partner. He
represents clients in allegations of price fixing and unfair trade
practices, breach of contract, fraud and RICO, Robinson-Patman Act, qui tam
and antitrust misuse defense to patent prosecution. He has been antitrust
counsel to trade associations and industry member groups and represented
clients before the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice on
issues ranging from mergers and acquisitions to consent decree
enforcements.
Engel received a B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University and a J.D.,
magna cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law.
