Time Change for Northland's 2012 Third Quarter Investor Call

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 22, 2012) - Northland Power Inc. The call will be held one hour earlier, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on November 7, 2012. Timing for the release of Northland's 2012 third quarter financial results after market close on November 6, 2012 remains unchanged.

Northland Power Inc. owns or has a net economic interest in 1,005 MW of operating generating capacity, and 320 MW of generating capacity in construction. Northland is also actively developing 280 MW of wind, solar and run-of-river hydro projects already awarded PPAs, and approximately 2,200 MW of additional power generation opportunities.
