Time & Parking Controls Hosts Annual Parking Conference at the National Constitution Center

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire - Jun 13, 2012) - Time & Parking Controls recently hosted its annual parking conference, which attracts prominent parking industry organizations and professionals from around the Tri-State area. The event was held at the National Constitution Center on May 17th and featured relevant presentations from industry leaders.

The theme this year was "Parking Operations, Internal and External Threats That Affect Your Business." Presentations were made by Mick McDaniels, Director of Business Development for Lenel Systems International, and Larry Donaghue, representing Larry Donaghue Associates. The sessions focused on the identification of threats in a parking environment and the protection necessary for physical property, customers, and money. Sponsors for the event included top manufacturers such as WPS Parking, LENEL Inc., and Magnetic Automation.

"We had an excellent weather day and another great turnout. This year we added some fun to the informative nature of the conference with a surprise guest, Ben Franklin (played by Rob Devitis). Ben spoke about parking in the 18th century and beyond, adding his very entertaining and humorous twist. We're already thinking of next year's event and have some ideas for expanding it for our customers," said Kevin Elsesser, General Manager of Time and Parking Controls.
