Tinka Completes Phase 1 Diamond Drill Program at Colquipucro, Peru

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 27, 2007) - Tinka Resources Limited (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TK)(PINK SHEETS:TKRFF)(FRANKFURT:TLD) -

Mr. Andrew Carter, President of Tinka, announces the completion of the Phase 1 diamond drill program at the Company's 100% owned Colquipucro silver project, west-central Peru. Fifteen holes were completed totalling 2,670m; twelve holes targeted known surface and underground mineralization, while three holes targeted geophysical anomalies.

Results from the first six holes have been released (see press releases dated August 28 and October 2, 2007) and highlights included 10m grading 625 g/t silver, 28m grading 105 g/t silver and 66m grading 83 g/t silver from surface.

All diamond drilling has been performed using HQ and NQ diameter drill rods. All core has been logged and split on site under the supervision of Tinka geologists, with sampling done on two metre intervals, and samples have been transported by company staff to Plenge Laboratories in Lima, Peru for assay by multi-acid digestion method. Analytical standards and blanks were routinely introduced in the sample suites sent to the laboratory.

Results for the remaining nine holes will be released as soon as they have been received from the laboratory.

The Company's Qualified Person as defined in National Instrument 43-101, John Nebocat (P.Eng.), who has visited the drill site to both observe the drilling and sampling procedures, has reviewed and approved the contents of this press release.
