Prior to NetApp, Villarreal worked for 15 years as an enterprise sales executive for Siemens AG, IBM and ROLM.

"I'm thrilled to be joining such an accomplished team, and at such an exciting phase of their growth," said Robert Villarreal, Tintri VP of Sales. "In just under six months, Tintri has emerged at the vanguard of the rapidly evolving storage field. Their unique, VM-aware storage appliance has garnered a disproportionate level of interest to date and I look forward to helping accelerate Tintri's rapid growth."

"Robert's track record over the past two decades speaks for itself," said Kieran Harty, Tintri CEO. "Throughout his career, he's achieved impressive results for leading enterprise IT organizations. We're confident that he will be instrumental in building out our sales team, both internally and externally, and a key driving force in Tintri's continued evolution."
