Titan Commercial Completes All-Cash Deal With Loyola University

University Purchases Future Development Land Site Near Campus

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - December 14, 2010) - Titan Commercial's Dan Steinberg, Vice President, represented Loyola University in the all-cash purchase of 18,000 sq. ft. of vacant land at 6300 N. Broadway. The site, which sold for $940,000, is within a few blocks from Loyola's campus and is an ideal location for future development. At this time, Loyola's intentions for the site are undisclosed. The transaction was completed on November 22.

The vacant land site, which used to contain a building that was torn down several years ago, had prior condominium-development plans that fell through.

"We followed this deal for months as the location is perfect for the growth of Loyola's campus," said Steinberg. "Expectations finally aligned and we were able to negotiate the purchase for nearly 50 percent of the initial asking price."
