Titan Energy Worldwide Announces $356,000 in New Orders of Power Generation Equipment for Minnesota Dept of Transportation

Order Includes 30 Emergency Back Up Power Units to Support Critical Communication Services

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - August 13, 2009) - Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI), a leader in the manufacturing, marketing and servicing of energy generation products and services, announced today that its Midwest subsidiary, Titan Energy Systems, received orders for thirty (30) emergency power engine generators totaling nearly $356,000. These units will provide emergency power back up for radio towers owned and operated by the Minnesota Dept of Transportation.
