Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. Awarded Generator Contracts to Great Plains Communications

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - October 24, 2007) - Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI) announced today that its subsidiary, Stellar Energy Services, Inc., has been awarded a contract to supply three emergency engine generator systems to Great Plains Communications Inc. of Blair, Nebraska. The backup systems will provide emergency power to cellular communication towers throughout Nebraska. Great Plains Communications is a diversified telecommunications company providing local and nationwide long distance telephone service, and local dial-up Internet access to more than sixty communities in Nebraska. Stellar Energy provides emergency and planned maintenance through its Omaha branch office.

The emergency power system that Stellar is providing includes 3 - 25kW natural gas engine generators with outdoor sound attenuated enclosures. Each system also includes one Generac automatic transfer switch. The automatic transfer switch continually monitors the incoming utility, if there is a loss of power the system will automatically start and transfer the cell tower onto the engine generator. The engine generators are manufactured in Waukesha, Wisconsin by Generac Power Systems, Inc. (www.generac.com)
