Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. Signs LOI to Develop Electric Hybrid Version of Sentry 5000

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - September 20, 2007) - Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI) announced today that it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to develop and produce an electric hybrid version of the mobile utility system, the Sentry 5000. The Sentry 5000 is a mobile utility system developed at Titan Energy that offers several critical functions during an emergency power situation including: power generation, air conditioning and heating, water purification, satellite communications, compressed air and peripheral lighting.

The standard, diesel-fueled Sentry™ 5000 was developed at Titan Energy Development, a subsidiary of Titan Energy Worldwide. This mobile utility system provides backup power; purified water; environmentally controlled air; satellite communications; perimeter lighting; and compressed air for use during emergencies, natural disasters, and where these essential, multiple utilities cab be used. This capability is contained in one convenient, mobile package designed for rapid delivery and simple setup in just minutes.

According to the terms of the LOI, Titan Energy will be funded for the development costs of the electric hybrid version, called the Sentry 5000EH. The Sentry 5000EH will incorporate high density 48 volt DC batteries, photo voltaic deployable rolls (flexible solar panels) and an AC \ DC gateway. The high density batteries offer significant run time and the roll-out solar panels provide the ability to recharge batteries without using the diesel generator.

Titan has filed a provisional patent for this design, and Management believes the electric hybrid product has intellectual property that Titan can use in standard engine generator systems that today make up the majority of the current standby energy market.

Stated Thomas Black, President of Titan Energy Worldwide, "The electric hybrid engine is an exciting development in the emergency energy industry as it offers a solution that is less dependent on traditional fuels, particularly in emergency situations where these fuel sources may be limited. This Sentry EH offers to give Titan a unique competitive position in the standby energy market place, one that will have application across both military and homeland security areas. We also plan to develop this intellectual property so that it can be incorporated into many of today's standard emergency power products such as stationary and mobile diesel generators. We believe this has the potential to add significant value to the company overall."
