Titan Energy Worldwide Receives $600,000 Contract to Supply Back-Up Power to U.S. Military Telecommunications Sites Throughout the U.S.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - June 25, 2009) - Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI), a leader in the manufacturing, marketing and servicing of energy generation products and services, announced today that its Midwestern subsidiary, Titan Energy Systems, has received orders to provide back-up power engine generators systems to communications towers located at U.S. military installations in various locations throughout the United States.

The first stage of this contract involves the delivery of nine (9) engine generators and another thirty (30) units over the next 6 to 9 months. The engine generators being purchased will be powered by diesel, liquid propane or natural gas based on location. The total contract value for all 39 units is estimated at approximately $600,000.
