Titan Energy Worldwide Sentry 5000™ Mobile Utility System Makes Gulf Coast Debut in Aftermath of Hurricane Gustav

Several Louisiana Parishes Get to Witness Firsthand the Lifesaving Capabilities of the Sentry 5000™

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - September 16, 2008) - Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI), a leader in manufacturing, marketing and servicing of energy generation products and services, announced today that the Company's Sentry 5000™ Mobile Utility System was successfully deployed in critical situations after Hurricane Gustav made landfall along the Gulf Coast earlier this month, including operation at the Baton Rouge Airport. The Sentry 5000™ is manufactured solely by the Company's subsidiary, Titan Energy Development.

According to Dean Pellegata, Business Development Manager for Titan Energy, "We were fortunate to have delivered a new Sentry 5000™ to our distribution partners in the Gulf Coast Region, ARCCO Power Systems of Baton Rouge, LA, just before Hurricane Gustav hit. With East Baton Rouge Parish taking the brunt of Hurricane Gustav's fury, ARCCO Power Systems was well-positioned to answer the community's need for immediate support to the more than 90% of households and businesses surrounding the East Baton Rouge areas affected by power outages (according to state figures). The Sentry 5000™ was rushed to several critical locations following the storm, including Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. When the Airport's main data center was attempting to operate without air conditioning and employees who were maintaining the airport's critical infrastructure were coping with 100-degree-plus temperatures, the Sentry was deployed to the scene and in a matter of minutes provided cooling to the facility and support for airport operations."

Earlier this year, Titan Energy signed a distribution agreement with MTU Onsite Energy, one of the largest manufacturers of power generation equipment in North America. As part of this agreement to market the Sentry 5000™ throughout the US and Canada, select MTU Onsite Energy distributors are acquiring Sentry 5000™ units as inventory for demonstration and marketing purposes. These initial units will be displayed and demonstrated for potential customers in key areas often hit by natural and manmade disasters.

"We were able to demonstrate the capabilities for the Sentry 5000™ for several parish presidents and emergency managers, a number of which have expressed strong interest in adding Sentry units to their disaster response fleet that will provide community support and safety during times when standard utility services are unavailable. In the meantime, we offer our continued assistance and have Sentry 5000™ systems available for immediate deployment to communities along the Gulf Coast coping with these storms, especially areas in Texas now recovering from Ike's destruction this past weekend," added Pellegata.
