Titan Energy Worldwide Signs Memorandum of Understanding With Tognum to Distribute Sentry 5000

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - November 27, 2007) - Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI) announced today its subsidiary, Stellar Energy Services, has been awarded the purchase order to supply a 1.2 Megawatt Generac Multiple Paralleling System (MPS) comprised of two (2) 600kW Diesel engine generators. The emergency standby power system will be installed at St. Jude Medical Manufacturing facility located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. St. Jude makes electrophysiological devices to map the electrical impulses of the heart.

The emergency power system will be installed outdoors with sound attenuated weather protective enclosure. The system will be provided with a 690 gallon sub-base double walled diesel fuel tank. The emergency power system produces 480 volt electricity and is large enough to back up the entire manufacturing facility. The engine generators are controlled by one service entrance rated automatic transfer switch. The transfer switch monitors the incoming utility and if there is a loss of normal power it will automatically start the engine generators and transfer the facility over to emergency power within 10 seconds.

Master Electric, located in Savage, Minnesota, has been retained by St. Jude for the installation of the emergency power generation equipment. Steve Hoyt, Field Sales Engineer for Stellar Energy, stated, "Master Electric, has previously installed Generac (MPS) systems in Minnesota and was quite pleased with the ease of installation and availability of technical support through Stellar Energy Services. Master Electric and St. Jude Corporation selected Stellar Energy based on the redundancy features that only the Generac MPS system can offer. The risk of an outage was too costly to rely upon a single unit and the N + 1 level of redundancy offered through MPS were the key benefit that swayed everyone to select the Generac Power Systems."
