Titan Medical Inc. Announces Issuance of U.S. Patent

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 18, 2012) - Titan Medical Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TMD)(OTCQX:TITXF) announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued U.S. Patent No. 8,224,485 titled "Snaking Robotic Arm with Movable Shapers". The patented technology includes the use of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) in flexible snake-like robotic arms that may be utilized in surgical robotic applications.
