Titan Oil and Gas, Inc.-Hurricane Preparedness Report

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 23, 2005) - Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. (TNOG:OTC) is issuing a report on hurricane preparedness at its Kosciusko site.

Titan CEO Kent Jacobson reports: "Even though our operations are well inland, we are expecting winds of appx. 50 mph with the current status of Hurricane Rita as Category 4. All oil and gas operations in the area are going to shut down until Monday morning, ours included.

"The top of the cement plug was tagged yesterday. We then laid down pipe that was not in the derrick, and "scoped down" the derrick halfway as a precaution due to the expected high winds. Since we don't expect a great deal of rainfall, we expect to resume operations and finish dressing the plug on Monday, with the directional drilling crew arriving afterward. Also, a truckload of oil is being sent out to market from the Stanley #1B and gun barrel of the Kosciusko #1."
