Titanium Transportation Group Announces Second Quarter Results, Reports 90% Increase in Revenue

Annualized run rate total revenue and EBITDA in excess of $120 million and $13 million

WOODBRIDGE, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 12, 2015) - Titanium Transportation Group Inc. ("Titanium" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TTR), is pleased to provide highlights of the Company's second quarter 2015 financial results.

Revenue and EBITDA Growth Summary

  • Revenue for the quarter rose to $32.4 million, a 90% increase over the second quarter of 2014
  • EBITDA for the quarter rose to $3.4 million, a 110% increase over the second quarter of 2014
  • Annualized run rate total revenue and EBITDA in excess of $120 million and $13 million

Segment Highlights

  • Truck Transportation revenue rose to $20.2 million, a 110% increase over the second quarter of 2014
  • Truck Transportation EBITDA margin increased to 13.1%, from 12.8% in the second quarter of 2014
  • Logistics revenue rose to $12.4 million, a 64% increase over the second quarter of 2014
  • Logistics EBITDA margin increased to 13.1%, from 7.5% in the second quarter of 2014

"Earnings before interest, income taxes, depreciation and amortization" ("EBITDA") is calculated as net income before finance income and costs, income tax expense, depreciation, amortization, asset impairments, gains or losses on the sale of equipment and reverse takeover costs.

"EBITDA margin" is calculated as EBITDA as a percentage of revenue before fuel surcharge.
