TMM, Inc. TRUDEF™ Technology Operates on Microsoft Surface™ Tablet Platform

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE--(Marketwired - June 26, 2013) - TMM, Inc. (PINKSHEETS:TMMI) ("TMMI" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that its TRUDEF™ digital compression technology now operates in Windows 8-64 and plays Ultra High Definition video on the Microsoft Surface Tablet.

This marks a major advance by the TRUDEF™ product development team as it expands the display formats to now view TRUDEF™ compressed video content from large format screens to Microsoft's new mobile device.

The Surface Pro tablet has a ClearType full HD screen and the screen is a 10.6-inch IPS LCD panel that packs a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 208-ppi. The system is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Core i5-3317U processor, 1GB of RAM and Intel's HD Graphics 4000 GPU.

The Surface Tablet showcases the superior graphics capabilities of TRUDEF™ and small file sizes for challenging video content. The team has successfully demonstrated the fractal zoom function on the Surface Tablet which doubles image resolution without increasing the file size.

Other graphics chips on which TRUDEF™ has been tested include the GeForce® GTX 675M GPU in the Asus G75VW laptop AMD's new Catalyst™ 13.6 Windows® Beta Driver released in May 2013. The team has successfully tested TRUDEF™ using AMD Radeon™ HD 7970 Graphics cards on both single and multiple displays.

TMMI continues development of its fractal TRUDEF™ codec with updates and improvements for digital video compression. Technically challenging videos obtained from content developers continue to be compressed with the resulting compression rates/ decompressed picture quality exceeding previous levels.
