Todric's Is Now Serving Dinner!

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 7, 2010) - Todric's has been in business for eight years, and has become one of the best caterers in Ottawa. All our hors-d'oeuvres are made fresh by hand. In 2007, we needed a larger location to be able to keep with demand and moved to 10 McArthur Ave, Vanier. The much larger space allowed us to expand the catering business, sell items on site, and open a forty-seat restaurant for breakfast and lunch during the week and gourmet brunch on the weekends.

Due to our continuing success, we have renovated and are now open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday evenings, 5.30 p.m. until closing. The new fresh atmosphere and open-concept kitchen gives the restaurant a casual fine dining ambience. The menu is seasonal and uses local produce when available, and the full wine list has many wines from Prince Edward County.

The following items are from the upcoming fall-winter menu

  • Appetizers ( $8 to $16):
    • Grilled Buttermilk Marinated Quail with Pear and Pine Nut Salad
    • Seared Sea Scallops on a Carrot-Late-Harvest-Vidal Reduction, Topped with a Curried Parsnip Puree, and Served with Vegetable Tempura
  • Main Courses ($15 to $28):
    • Cornish Hen Duo: Oven Roasted Breast and Confit of Leg Casserole with Foie Gras
    • Open Lobster Ravioli with a Lobster Cognac Cream Sauce.
  • Desserts ($7 to $9):
    • Caramel Apple Shortcake with an Apple Cider Reduction
    • White Chocolate Gewürztraminer Mousse with Lemon Parfait.
