Briggs Digital Media to Launch New Web Series March 21 at www.cinsay.com

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - March 7, 2008) - Acclaimed actor Tom Sizemore has joined the cast of the actor/director Matt Schulze's new action/adventure Web and TV series "The Acquirer," it was announced today by Schulze, who stars as series lead Lucien Hayes, and directs. When master-thief Lucien Hayes (Schulze) learns that his fiancée has been kidnapped and is being held as ransom for one of the most valuable artifacts on earth, he finds himself propelled down an unbelievable path of deceit, danger, and intrigue -- leading him to the ultimate heist. Sizemore will co-star in the explosive action-thriller as Arthur, a mysterious ex-CIA agent who serves as the liaison between Hayes and the shadowy clients for whom The Acquirer is retained.

"I am extremely happy to welcome Tom as a series regular on 'The Acquirer,'" said Schulze. "He's a great talent who brings intensity and determination to every role he plays -- the kind of actor that directors and actors alike appreciate working with. We shot our first scene with Tom and I know that fans are going to be thrilled to see him back on the screen again." In addition to wrapping production on the first episode of "The Acquirer," which Schulze shot mostly on location in Paris, the director is currently in pre-production on the second installment, which will shoot in and around San Francisco. Following that, Schulze and his "The Acquirer" production team will head to Rome for lensing of Episode Three.

"I've been away from filming for awhile now, and it feels great getting back in front of the cameras again," Sizemore said. "Matt is a powerful presence in this series, both in front of and behind the camera, and I am truly grateful that he and the Briggs Digital Media family have welcomed me to 'The Acquirer' so openly. I plan on giving them -- and my fans -- the best I have to offer. I'm back, and I'm having a great time."

Born in Detroit, Sizemore began his screen career in the late 1980s and rose to prominence playing notable tough guy roles in the 1990s for some of Hollywood's most acclaimed directors. From roles portraying Bat Masterson in Kevin Costner's "Wyatt Earp" to Detective Jack Scagnetti in Oliver Stone's "Natural Born Killers" to Sergeant Horvath in Spielberg's "Saving Private Ryan," Sizemore excelled at every assignment. He went on to portray a psychotic paramedic in Martin Scorsese's "Bringing Out the Dead," and another leading role in Ridley Scott's "Black Hawk Down." For television, Sizemore starred as John Gotti in the telefilm "Witness to the Mob," and starred as another mobster in "Witness Protection," for which he earned a Golden Globe nomination. With a total of more than 75 films to his credit, some of Sizemore's other memorable work includes roles in "Pearl Harbor," "Red Planet," "The Relic," Strange Days" and "Heart and Souls."
