Tombstone Exploration Corporation Renews Bureau of Land Management Mining Claims - Arizona & Nevada

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - September 7, 2010) -  Tombstone Exploration Corporation (OTCBB: TMBXF) announced today that it has renewed its Bureau of Land Management ("BLM") mining claims in the Tombstone Mining District located in the State of Arizona. The Company has paid all required fees prior to the due date of August 31, 2010.

Fees have also been paid on the Eagleville property to the Bureau of Land Management in the State of Nevada. Eagleville is located along the northeast boundary of the Walker Lane structural zone in the Regent-Rawhide Mining District, Mineral County, Nevada. The property is a gold rich prospect located in the prolific Walker Lane Structural belt that hosts bonanza grade mineralization.

The electromagnetic Geophysical ZTEM program completed in July is currently being analyzed and results should be completed soon. Geotech Inc. is in the final stages of completing the required technical reports and maps from the field operation in Tombstone. The ZTEM survey covered most of the Tombstone acreage in the Tombstone Mining District and has gathered data over 6,000 feet below the surface. Once the results are received, further development targets can be identified.

Alan Brown, President and CEO of Tombstone Exploration, said, "The renewal of our mining claims confirms our belief that further development of our Tombstone acreage will be called for by the completed analysis. We are currently also looking to schedule additional drill programs on our property upon completion of financing."

Tombstone is in the process of completing financing from EuroGas and expects to have this done in the month of September. The capital infusion from EuroGas will cover the cost of the 2010 Drill Program, provide additional operating capital and enable Tombstone to move forward quickly to strategically develop the company's properties.

Tombstone Exploration Corporation (OTCBB: TMBXF) is focused primarily on exploration and development of mineral resources. Tombstone Exploration Corporation has the mineral rights to historical mining land in the areas around Tombstone, Arizona and is the largest landholder in the Tombstone Mining District. Tombstone also has the mineral rights to 1000 acres in Mineral County Nevada known as the Eagleville property.
