Tonbridge Power Inc.: Supreme Court of Canada Dismisses Final Landowners Application for Leave to Appeal

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 22, 2009) - Tonbridge Power Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TBZ) ("Tonbridge Power" or the "Company"), 100% controlling shareholder of Montana Alberta Tie Ltd. ("MATL"), is pleased to announce that the Supreme Court of Canada has dismissed the application for leave to appeal brought by an Alberta landowner group in the case "Roy Swanson Farms Ltd. et al. v. Alberta (Energy and Utilities Board) et al.". The court dismissed the application for leave and awarded costs to Montana Alberta Tie Ltd, Naturener Energy Canada Inc. and Naturener USA LLC.

This now exhausts all legal avenues in Canada to challenge the validity of the permit to construct and operate a power line in Alberta. The company will now be able start construction on both sides of the border shortly.
