MEDICINE HAT, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Jan. 26, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage
The Medicine Hat Folk Music Club will receive funding of $10,300 through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to present the 9th edition of the Tongue on the Post Festival (TOP Fest). LaVar Payne, Member of Parliament (Medicine Hat), announced this support today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
TOP Fest is an annual festival that showcases folk music in Medicine Hat. Activities include a gala concert, performances by local musicians, an afternoon school concert, a singer/songwriter workshop, and artisan displays and demonstrations.
