ToolsGroup Named a Top 100 Logistics IT Provider for 2008

Company Also Recognized With Customer in Manufacturing Automation's 2008 Progressive Manufacturing 50

CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwire - May 20, 2008) - ToolsGroup, a global provider of demand-driven inventory optimization solutions, announced today that it was recently recognized as a leading information technology provider by a pair of logistics and manufacturing publications.

For the second year in a row, ToolsGroup was named an Inbound Logistics' Top 100 Logistics IT Provider. The publication's editorial staff selected ToolsGroup from among more than 500 applicants for the honor this year, using questionnaires, online research, and personal interviews. In its April issue, the publication states that, "The companies chosen reflect [the reader's] need for simplicity, ROI, efficient implementation, and a dual emphasis on best-of-breed or end-to-end, all-encompassing solutions."

In addition, ToolsGroup was lauded for its successful role in supporting its customer, Mohawk Fine Papers, which was named to Manufacturing Automation's 2008 Progressive Manufacturing 50. Mohawk was recognized for its Sales and Operations Planning project, which leveraged technology to increase customer service levels by 8 points, while significantly improving global inventory turns. Mohawk's nomination was reviewed by an independent judging panel for project scope, business impact, customer impact, technology use and scale. ToolsGroup was recognized by the publication as having provided the technology instrumental to Mohawk's success.

"We are honored to be recognized again as a true partner for companies that are looking to achieve outstanding customer service levels with less inventory," said Joseph Shamir, CEO of ToolsGroup.
