ToolsGroup Receives Supply Chain Awards

Cited as Supply Chain Leader for Seventh Year

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - May 19, 2011) - ToolsGroup today announced that it was named recently to two "top 100" supply chain lists, the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 and the Inbound Logistics Top 100. A global supply chain planning and inventory optimization vendor, ToolsGroup has been cited in industry publications for more than seven years for helping its customers achieve supply chain excellence.

ToolsGroup was recognized in this year's Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 for being a leading technology provider who helped its customers achieve supply chain excellence and position for the post-recessionary return to growth. ToolsGroup first received the honor in 2004.

This year's list features '100 Great Supply Chain Projects.' ToolsGroup is cited for a Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP) project at one of the world's largest electronics products distributors, serving 1.5 million customers worldwide. Within months, the new supply chain planning approach reduced inventory by more than $3 million, while maintaining a very high service level.

ToolsGroup was also recently named to this year's Inbound Logistics Top 100. Drawn from a pool of more than 300 contestants, the editors selected Logistics IT providers who are leading the way in scalability, simplicity, fast ROI, and ease of implementation.

"During the past three years, many enterprises made the strategic shift to better rationalize inventory with demand. ToolsGroup consistently provides the kinds of technology solutions Inbound Logistics readers need to achieve the visibility and control that makes that business logistics paradigm shift work," said Felecia Stratton, Editor of Inbound Logistics.

"We are proud to be recognized by both supply chain publications," said Joseph Shamir, CEO of ToolsGroup. "It is a privilege to be cited for our efforts to help our customers achieve the highest industry standards in supply chain planning."
