Top 12 Winners Revealed in maurices Main Street Model Search

DULUTH, MN--(Marketwire - May 9, 2011) - And then there were 12. maurices has revealed the 12 winners of maurices Main Street Model Search. These women will model for the national women's clothing retailer for the next three seasons.

A pool of 500+ applicants from across the country was pared down to 50 through online voting and then to 20 by maurices. The top 20 had a whirlwind experience in Minneapolis, Minn., late last week, where they went through a series of interviews, hair and makeup sessions, and test photo shoots. The judging panel from maurices, along with celebrity judge and stylist Christopher Straub from Lifetime's Project Runway, got to know the women and discover what makes them passionate about fashion and their hometowns.

The 12 winners will be divided into three groups, with each modeling for an upcoming fall, holiday or spring maurices campaign.
