Top Broadband Communications and Global Services Companies Serving Millions of Customers Deploy Violin Flash Storage Platform™

Existing Violin Customers Add FSP to Scale Their Businesses and Grow their Customer Base

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwired - October 08, 2015) - Violin Memory®, Inc. (NYSE: VMEM) a global pioneer of award-winning all flash storage platform solutions for primary storage and active workloads, today announced that a top broadband communications company and a global mobile services company have deployed Violin's Flash Storage Platform™ (FSP) in their enterprise data center environments.

Both companies have previously deployed Violin All Flash Array solutions and are adding Violin's FSP to consolidate and simplify their primary storage data center workloads to achieve significant performance improvements, and take advantage of proven OPEX savings including power, cooling and floor space.

As a top broadband communications company serving nearly seven million customers, this Violin customer needed predictable and sustained performance with scalability for customer growth. Violin's 7700 FSP was designed specifically to meet the demands for ultra-high levels of reliability and availability with zero down time and zero data loss which made it an ideal solution to help this customer deliver customer satisfaction, realize OPEX savings and remain competitive.

Delivering mobile services to more than six million customers meant this Violin global customer needed to provide exemplary customer service and support to remain competitive.
