Top Business and Policy Leaders Gather at Milken Institute State of the State Conference on October 20 in Los Angeles to Discuss the Best Path Forward for California's Future

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - October 7, 2009) - On Tuesday, October 20, more than 500 decision-makers from across the state will gather at the Beverly Hilton for the 11th annual Milken Institute State of the State Conference, the leading policy and economics forum on California. The conference is headlined by the state's top business and policy leaders and is known for its in-depth discussions of current economic and policy challenges

The one-day conference looks at the most pressing issues facing the state and focuses on the viable solutions that can address both the headline-grabbing concerns and the state's long-term goals. Topics to be discussed include real estate market recovery, state budget reform, business and job retention, budget cuts in higher education, maintaining a lead in innovation, and investment options that support a successful and sustainable future for the state.
