Top Executive of Nation's Largest Publicly Held Assisted Living Provider Named Chief Operating Officer of New CRM Startup

Sherpa Gains One of Senior Housing Industry's Most Talented and Experienced Professionals

ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwired - September 29, 2014) - Jayne Sallerson, a longtime top executive at Emeritus Corp., which recently merged with Brookdale Senior Living, was recently appointed Chief Operating Officer of Sherpa. Based in St. Louis, MO, Sherpa is a new customer relationship management (CRM) software that works as a sales conversion tool.

Sallerson has 29 years of sales and marketing experience in the healthcare and senior living industry. She most recently served as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Emeritus Senior Living, the nation's largest provider of assisted living services. In addition to overseeing the development and deployment of a proprietary CRM program, she managed the sales and marketing merger for more than 250 new acquisitions that included the integration of CRM systems. 

According to Sallerson, Sherpa's CRM will create real and substantive changes in the senior housing industry by focusing on more productive and targeted customer-centered practices that can help attract lower acuity residents, increase length of stay, and reduce sales staff turnover.
