TopLine Federal Credit Union Receives Two Nation-Wide Diamond Awards

Awards Presented by the Credit Union National Association Recognize Credit Unions for Marketing Excellence

MAPLE GROVE, MN--(Marketwire - March 24, 2011) -  TopLine Federal Credit Union was honored with two Diamond Awards for exceptional marketing efforts in 2010. The awards were given by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing and Business Development Council and honor credit unions for their marketing excellence.

The CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council has more than 1,000 professionals focused on delivering innovative, educational, results-driven marketing programs.

The awards recognized TopLine for its commitment to providing financial education and marketing creativity. The award-winning entries were a direct mailer and direct mail series of communications, print and electronic, focusing on helping members save money by refinancing their current home or auto loan with TopLine. The communications focused on discussing how TopLine, their local credit union, can help to lower monthly payments.

"This past year with its unique economic times, more than ever, presented us with an opportunity to reach out to our members to help them save. We wanted our members to fully understand that their local not-for-profit credit union can assist them with getting the best deal possible," said Katie Pitman, senior vice president at TopLine. "It is an added bonus to receive a pat on the back from our industry colleagues for our efforts. We are fortunate to have a very talented marketing team, who are very deserving of this honor."

The credit union's winning entries were presented at CUNA's 18th Annual Marketing and Business Development Council Conference in mid-March.
