TopLine MD Health Alliance Partners With Uber and Relatient to Get Patients to Their Medical Appointments on Time

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - August 15, 2016) - TopLine MD Health Alliance is making it easier than ever for patients to get to their medical appointments on time. The alliance is partnering with Ride to Health -- a new integration between Uber and Relatient.

Relatient, a patient relationship management organization, is fully incorporating the Uber app into the text and email messages they deliver to their patients. This will allow patients to request a ride to their appointment when they receive their reminder.

Hundreds of TopLine MD physicians and their practices will offer the Ride to Health service through Relatient. The partnership is kicking off, the week of August 22 to 26, with a special discount for patients that receive their appointment reminders via the Relatient technology. New Uber riders will get their first ride free -- up to $15 -- and existing riders will receive $5 off their ride to their participating healthcare provider.

Although the discount is only offered during that week of August, the Ride to Health service will be available for all Relatient patients moving forward.

More than 3.5 million Americans fail to make it to their doctor appointment because of lack of transportation. This innovative initiative is looking to solve for that lack of access to healthcare.
