Toque Tuesday Puts a Cap on Youth Homelessness

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Feb. 7, 2011) - Every year, communities across Canada mark Toque Tuesday as part of the Raising the Roof campaign – coordinated by Canada's only national charity dedicated to finding long-term solutions to youth homelessness. On Toque Tuesday, February 8th, Edmonton groups will be selling toques in the community, and encouraging everyone to wear their Raising the Roof Toques to show support for ending youth homelessness.

Volunteers and representatives of Homeward Trust Edmonton, Intact Insurance, and Crystal Glass will be selling toques from 7-9am at Corona and Churchill LRT stations, and 3:30-6 at South Campus, Southgate, and Century Park LRT stations.

Representatives of the organizations will be available for comments and a photo-op:
