The Toronto Palestine Film Festival (TPFF) is pleased to invite you to our opening press conference on Saturday, 25 October 2008. The press conference features: award-winning Palestinian-American actor Suheir Hammad, Palestinian-American actor Bashar Da'as, Festival spokesperson Dania Majid and TPFF advisory board member Jehad Aliweiwi. The festival closes with critically acclaimed director Jackie Reem Salloum in attendance to introduce the Canadian premiere of Slingshot Hip Hop, on November 1, 2008.
