Toronto Remembers Cpl Nathan Cirillo

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 27, 2014) - Media and the public are invited to join the officers and soldiers of 32 Canadian Brigade Group on Tuesday, October 28, at 11 a.m. in St. Andrew's Church, Toronto, to remember Cpl Nathan Cirillo, of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada. Cpl Cirillo was killed while standing guard over the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Ottawa.

The members of 32 Canadian Brigade Group, the Canadian Army unit in Toronto and area, will gather at historic St. Andrew's Church, 73 Simcoe Street, to watch the funeral service being held in Hamilton for Cpl Cirillo on a live video feed, followed by a brief memorial service.

When: Doors open at 11 a.m., funeral scheduled to begin by 12 noon.
Where: St. Andrew's Church, 73 Simcoe St (at King St. W.).
What: The officers and soldiers of 32 Canadian Brigade Group will gather to watch the funeral of Cpl Nathan Cirillo in Hamilton, followed by a brief memorial service and the playing of The Campbells Are Coming, the regimental march of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada.
