Toronto Stock Exchange Will Consider Extending Continued Listing of Maximizer Software Shares, Subject to Progress of Going Private Transaction

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 2, 2009) - Maximizer Software Inc. (TSX:MAX) has received a letter from the Toronto Stock Exchange indicating that the exchange would consider extending the continued listing of the shares of Maximizer Software to allow public trading in its shares while it completes its previously announced going private transaction. The Exchange would make its decision closer to the end of the 30-day period before the delisting takes effect on the basis of the progress made in completing the going private transaction.
