Torstar Announces David Holland Retiring as President and CEO

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - July 06, 2016) - Torstar Corporation (TSX: TS.B) today announced that David Holland has decided to retire as President and CEO of Torstar Corporation later this fall. Torstar has initiated a search to fill the joint position of President and CEO of Torstar and Publisher of the Toronto Star.

Mr. Holland has worked in a number of divisions within Torstar since 1986, and has served as President and CEO for the past seven years.
