Torstar Announces Intention to Reorganize Advertising Sales for the Toronto Star and Metro English Canada


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov. 14, 2013) - Torstar (TSX:TS.B) today announced that the Toronto Star and Metro English Canada intend to reorganize their advertising sales operations, with Metro's advertising sales function acting as the point of contact for the Toronto Star and Metro brands, as well as for other Star Media Group properties.

This reorganization will better position the Toronto Star and Metro, together with other Star Media Group properties, as leading providers of effective and distinctive marketing solutions. With this change, advertising customers will have combined access to compelling marketing solutions across a diverse set of platforms.
