Total Merchant Services Expands Management Team

New Hires Reflect Company's Mission to Offer Enhanced Sales and Marketing Services for Small Businesses

BASALT, CO--(Marketwire - Jan 29, 2013) - As one of the fastest-growing credit card merchant account acquirers, Total Merchant Services (Total), today announced the company has expanded its management team with two senior executives. The new members are part of the company's initiative to offer a full suite of sales, marketing and consulting services for small business owners.

By providing cutting-edge and cost-effective solutions to both merchants and sales partners, Total has quickly evolved as a market leader in the merchant bankcard industry. Joining Total's team to help small businesses accelerate their growth is Matthew A. Mignona, as the company's new Director of ISO/Sales Partner Acquisitions, and Heather Campbell, as Director of Marketing.

Matt Mignona comes to Total from SparkBase, an independent gift and loyalty-processing network. As Senior Vice President of Sales, Mignona helped grow the company to more than 70 employees in under two years. In addition to building its reseller channel from the ground-up, Mignona worked to launch a direct sales team in six months -- and significantly increased year-over-year sales. Prior to SparkBase, Mignona held leadership roles at Power Direct and MBNA America.

With more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of marketing, Heather Campbell is tasked with further defining and building market visibility for Total's brand. Campbell comes to the company from DIRECTV® where she served as Senior Director of Sales and Marketing. While at the $27 billion company, Campbell helped grow indirect sales distribution with targeted trade marketing and sales communications. Prior to DIRECTV, Campbell held marketing leadership roles at 1-800-FLOWERS.COM and Ken Crane's Home Entertainment.
