Total S.A., Qatar Petroleum Invest in Algeria's Petrochemicals Sector, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - March 14, 2011) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Algeria continues to grow its petrochemicals sector, hoping to rival Egypt one day. As Egypt has a few decades' worth of infrastructure, it would only make sense to hasten the gap by inviting foreign investors. (NYSE:TOT) (Paris, France) and Qatar Petroleum (Doha, Qatar) to produce petrochemicals at its site in Arzew. The project has been discussed since 2005.
