OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 5, 2012) - International Datacasting Corporation (TSX:IDC), the global leader in digital content distribution for the world's premiere broadcasters, announces that towerCast has selected IDC as its technology partner for the expansion of its vast radio broadcast network, based in France. The initial order is valued at approximately US$2 million, and this contract is expected to expand as the network grows to include more French radio groups. towerCast currently manages a network of close to 550 sites nationwide.

The initial order for NRJ GROUP French FM networks, includes a redundant IDC head end and multiple SuperFlex® Pro Audio and STAR Pro Audio receivers for IP transport which together provides a hybrid network solution which will enable NRJ GROUP radio networks to provide regionalized and local ad insertion, and local programming in key markets, while allowing access by multiple transmission tower operators.
