T.R.A.C., Inc. Receives $1,000 From Wells Fargo on Behalf of Acordia Volunteer Service Award Winner

CHICAGO, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 22, 2005 -- Acordia, Inc., a Wells Fargo Company, announced today that Connie Barker, Acordia Customer Account Manager in Hendersonville, Tenn., received the 2005 Volunteer Service Award from Wells Fargo in recognition of the valuable contributions she has made to T.R.A.C., Inc. Wells Fargo will contribute $1,000 to T.R.A.C., Inc. in Barker's honor.

T.R.A.C., Inc. (Temporary Residence for Adolescents in Crisis), is presently the only private, non profit community-based residential treatment program in Sumner county for female dependent/neglected, delinquent and status adolescent offenders. The program provides a home in a family-like setting where the girls can be protected from further abuse and/or neglect while learning skills to help enrich their future. Residents spend an average of six to nine months at T.R.A.C. in order to deal with their issues, ease into the restored family and back into the community. Barker has been involved with T.R.A.C. for six years as a member of the organization's board of directors, where she currently serves as vice president and fundraising chair.

The Volunteer Service Award Program gives Wells Fargo team members the chance to win up to $50,000 for the non-profit organization or K-12 school where they volunteer. Barker is one of 164 Wells Fargo team members and one of five Acordia team members across the country to receive a Volunteer Service Award this year. In total, $320,000 will be awarded to the winners' organizations. Winners are chosen based on the team member's dedication to the organization, effectiveness of their work, amount of personal time volunteered and the value of their work to their community.
