Trace3 Awarded for "Top Storage Practice" in CRN's VAR500 List

17th Annual List Ranks North America's Top 500 Technology Integrators

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 20, 2011) - Trace3, a leading IT Systems Integrator that provides solutions & services for reducing IT infrastructure complexity, today announced it has been recognized by Everything Channel for having the "Top Storage Practice" in CRN's 17th annual VAR500 list, which ranks the top technology integrators in North America. Featuring the highest producing technology integrators and solution provider organizations in the IT channel, the VAR500 rankings consider earnings from hardware sales, software sales and managed IT services.

The core of Trace3's growth is its continuous investments in talent development, best of breed technologies, and service offerings including: security, storage, backup & archiving, virtualization, network, cloud and managed services. Trace's philosophy of Define Your X, X being your strategic plan, has been the company's key approach in understanding their client's goals as a trusted advisor and transforming them into a successful plan.

The VAR500 is a list of the largest value-added resellers, solution providers and integrators in North America by revenue size. Revenue size is determined by the amount of annual products and services sold over the course of 2010.

"Being recognized in this year's VAR500 List and awarded Top Storage Practice is a great honor and testament to Trace3's market strategy," said Hayes Drumwright, CEO of Trace3. "Climbing 141 spots from last year's VAR500 list to this year's placement of #105 can be explained by our substantial 70% growth in revenue from 2009's $110MM to 2010's $186MM. We attribute this growth to our Services, launch of new divisions such as our ATC (Authorized Training Center) Program, expanded offerings from new Partnerships and most importantly the quality and expertise of our team. It is a very exciting time for Trace3. We are experiencing explosive growth, creating jobs across the Southwest and raising hundreds of thousands dollars to non-profits like Project HOPE School Foundation in Orange County. We are extremely grateful for being recognized as the Top Storage Practice by CRN and once again being listed in the VAR500.

"The VAR500 represents the top performing solution providers in the IT community," said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, Everything Channel. "Vendors of all sizes rely heavily on the VAR500 list to find those solution providers best suited to sell their products. VAR500 honorees are considered trusted business advisors, integration experts, and invaluable partners. Even more importantly, they solve customers' biggest IT business problems through product integration, training, consulting and services. We congratulate Trace3 for making this year's VAR500 list and for winning the 2011 Top Storage Practice award."

That void being IT co-management services, where not only do we understand their IT environment and help them solve IT problems as Trace3 has traditionally done, but also provide them with 2 main features: 1) an IT vision (tokened "Define your X") that we aid in defining and achieving and 2) co-management services to achieve that vision. Co-management consists of several services ranging from the most basic, such as installation, to the most integrated, such as staff augmentation or residency. The goal of our co-management services is to allow the client the benefit of scalability of all infrastructure resources within their IT department.
