TraceLink Announces NEXUS '16 Conference: Mastering Global Traceability With a Digital Supply Chain Network

NORTH READING, MA--(Marketwired - Jan 20, 2016) - TraceLink Inc., the world's largest track and trace network for connecting the Life Sciences supply chain and eliminating counterfeit prescription drugs from the global marketplace, today announced NEXUS '16 -- the company's annual gathering of business leaders and pharmaceutical supply chain professionals dedicated to shaping the future of global drug traceability for Life Sciences. The two-day event will be held on October 19 and 20, at the Revere Hotel Boston, with a special evening event at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum. Registration for NEXUS '16 is now open, with early purchase discounts available for all tickets sales before June 1, 2016.

"It's often difficult to find time away from the office to sit down with industry peers, learn from each other, share ideas, and come together as a community to create business value that results in protecting channel integrity and promoting patient health," said Jon Hahn, CIO of FFF Enterprises, and attendee of TraceLink NEXUS '15. "I would highly recommend that anyone involved with regulatory laws and supply chain compliance for their company attend and benefit from NEXUS this coming October."

Shabbir Dahod, president and CEO of TraceLink commented, "TraceLink NEXUS is an opportunity for pharmaceutical suppliers to come together and dig deep on specific issues that impact their ability to achieve compliance as a whole across the supply chain. As life sciences companies work to address a plethora of track and trace challenges over the next few years, most are working in isolation on their unique issues. However, for track and trace initiatives to be successful, companies must work more closely together. Our theme for NEXUS '16 emphasizes this critical need and attendees won't experience any other event during the year that draws this level of collaborative insights from such a wide range of supply chain partners."

TraceLink NEXUS '16: Mastering Global Traceability with a Digital Supply Chain Network

As regulatory deadlines near in a range of countries across the world, pharmaceutical suppliers attending NEXUS '16 will benefit from industry thought leaders, supply chain visionaries, and track and trace pioneers and the perspectives they share on successful track and trace implementations and long-term value for life sciences businesses. Attendees will be able to participate in keynotes, educational tracks and interactive workshops that explore:

  • Drug traceability from all segments of the supply chain, including pharma manufacturers, CMOs, distributors, pharmacy chains, health systems, and independent drugstores;
  • Implementation plans for achieving comprehensive compliance coverage in multiple countries;
  • Real-world case studies from businesses that have deployed successful track and trace programs; and,
  • Exciting opportunities for near-term and long-term value that will result from leveraging digital supply chain networks.

At the conclusion of the first day of the conference, all attendees are invited to a special evening event at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum, where they will have exclusive access to historical materials related to the life, leadership, and legacy of the thirty-fifth president of the Unites States.
