TraceLink to Discuss Global Track and Trace Compliance at Pharmaceutical Serialisation and Traceability Conference in Geneva

NORTH READING, MA--(Marketwired - Nov 3, 2015) - TraceLink Inc., the world's largest track and trace network for connecting the Life Sciences supply chain and eliminating counterfeit prescription drugs from the global marketplace, today announced that Jean-Marie Aulnette, vice president, EMEA, will serve as chairman at the sixth annual Pharmaceutical Serialisation and Traceability conference taking place in Geneva, Switzerland on 3rd - 4th November 2015. Aulnette will deliver a welcome note at the start of the conference and discuss the key challenges that pharmaceutical companies face when complying with global track and trace regulations.

More than 40 markets, including the European Union, United States, Brazil, China, South Korea, and India, have introduced new track and trace laws to protect pharmaceutical products as they move through the supply chain. As a result, serialisation is now a strategic business requirement that includes a range of challenges in ensuring that the right people, processes, data and devices are connected across a company's internal and external supply chain operations.

At this year's Pharma Serialisation and Traceability, Aulnette will help attendees navigate the complex landscape of global track and trace, and serialisation. His remarks, which will take place on the first day of the conference, Tuesday, 3 November at 8:45am, will cover:

  • The unique requirements of different regulations in every country;
  • The multifaceted challenges of implementing serialised products;
  • The need for massive data processing and transaction management;
  • The critical integration required to achieve information and data exchange with trading partners;
  • How to ensure end-to-end integration of all production lines and legacy systems; and,
  • How to build an extended ecosystem of real-time applications around patients and healthcare.
